Creating Professional Apps with LinkedIn

Details

Ready to get back to business?

Kirsten Jones, developer advocate at LinkedIn, is going to tell us how to build iOS apps that use LinkedIn's massive network of business relationships... and not just that, she's going to walk us through code and an open library that we can take home and use to start our own projects.

We'll also hear about some of the projects that are part of LinkedIn's big push into mobile, and see a few more developer-friendly projects TBA soon.

Heads up - there's no food tonight, so grab something before the meetup if you think your stomach will be growling. :)

Also, new to the agenda: Aleksey Novicov will be giving a brief tutorial on over-the-air Ad Hoc provisioning (you've got to know how to do this) and we'll see a demo of Fieldforce, a third-party iOS app that uses LinkedIn for signin.

See you tonight at LinkedIn!

Sounds interesting. I would be interested to know if it is worth it to add LinkedIn sharing option to our iOS apps.

We've integrated LinkedIn to our iOS app but haven't seen much update compared to Twitter or FB. Looking forward to learning what we can do different!

I'm looking for a great developer to help out with an iOS project in the Real Estate Market - Linkedin will be a key part of the feature set

I love the latest version of the LinkedIn app. Among other things, the News feed is very well done. Looking forward to learning about Dev resources and opportunities.

I already declare being candidate for the next iPhone Meetup, the success of your event is crazy! I could pitch a French iPhne app called Opismart (@opismart on Twitter)
