Details
Join us on May 21 to meet Palo Alto CIO Jonathan Reichental ( https://twitter.com/#!/reichental ). He'll be talking about Palo Alto's drive to bring apps and open data to local government.
Previously CIO of O'Reilly Media, last year Jonathan gave this TEDx talk on privacy and the web: http://www.reichental.com/?p=318
Following Jonathan, we'll have two short demos of health and data-related projects:
Joseph Ekman will talk about his "For the Kids" foundation and the ICE (In Case of Emergency) standard for making emergency medical information easy for caregivers to find on mobile devices.
Katelyn Gleason will tell us about Eligible, her app that health care providers can use to quickly check coverage information. She'll also tell us about Eligible's new API.
Talks will start at 7:00 and will probably finish around 8:30.
