I was skeptical of the java to obj-c idea but really warmed up tot he speaker. he's so smart! great to see that he emphasized that the project avoided anything to do with porting universal UI.

I developed a couple of simple apps to learn iOS (search for Thinkers Ink in the iStore) and am currently designing a science game which I plan to develop in both the iOS and Android platforms. So I'm working on improving my iOS skills, learning Java, and learning about gamification.
