At Microsoft Reactor: Touring the Microsoft Cloud for Mobile Developers
Details
We'll be at Microsoft Reactor in San Francisco this month to hear from Andrew Moll and Tim Reilly, technical evangelists for Microsoft Cloud.
Doors will open at 6:30 with talks at 7.
Touring the Microsoft Cloud for Mobile Developers
In this presentation we'll take a tour of Azure storage, notification, and development solutions for iOS and Android developers. We'll start with a presentation on the various services provided by Microsoft then move onto a demonstration of Mobile services and cognitive services using a video sharing platform that leverages both the cloud and machine learning. By the end of the presentation you'll be familiar with what Microsoft has to offer iOS developers and how to leverage the cloud to make development a more enjoyable experience.
Tim Reilly works for Microsoft as a Technical Evangelist. His job is to share the good news of technology! Tim’s an avid attendee of Hackathons, developer conferences, and Ultimate Frisbee games.
Andrew Moll is just a regular guy living off caffeine, protein bars, and presentations. He's typically creating recommendation engines, multi-petabyte Hadoop systems, and Machine Learning algorithms. He loves to code, teach, & speak on all things data!

Content was very informative and having live examples for using the Azure platform was nice. The entire presentation could have been done in less time, which would have allowed for more time for Q&A / networking.
