APIs for iOS apps: GraphQL and gRPC

Details

This month we'll talk about two new ways to better connect our apps with the world through APIs.

Build Better iOS Apps with GraphQL

GraphQL is a query language for APIs. It was created by Facebook to power its mobile apps and Michael Paris of scaphold.io will show us how we too can start using GraphQL to build type-safe, efficient iOS applications. The GraphQL type-system fits in seamlessly with Xcode and Swift so get ready to learn about some awesome new developer tools at your disposal.

High-Performance APIs with gRPC

gRPC combines Protocol Buffers, HTTP/2, and code generation to give developers a new way to write high-performance, reliable APIs. Google's Muxi Yan will describe gRPC and then we'll see how we will soon be able to use gRPC in Swift apps.

I had to miss last night's Meetup because of illness. Are their slides available for the talk on gRPC?
